Literature Text

I walk amongst these ancient trees
Listening as they whisper to me
In words only I will find meaning:
Timeless, unfettered dreams
Holding the kindest memories.

Listening as they whisper to me
Tales of Shakespearean tragedy,
And raven sitting above the door.
Oedipus and his fateful destiny,
Evokes the deepest sentiments in me.

In words only I will find meaning,
Significant in eyes spent dreaming.
Lenin and his vision of equality
The passion of Mohandas Gandhi,
Their verse seems so empowering

Timeless, unfettered dreams,
Never ceasing to plague me.
To see the world undone,
Rampant and hopelessly overrun
Would be endlessly troubling.

Holding the kindest memories
Of hope and accomplished things,
Love and the warmth in my heart
Never ceases to be so enduring,
Despite the tragedies death may bring.
#12, and 4 days late, the Lilibonelle.

I really liked writing this.

Wow that's fantastic. Hope amongst tragedy, and learning from the great philosophers and scholars. How people should be and yet aren't. Fantastically written piece!
