Literature Text

Oh, how this lovely dance macabre
Twists about as the mothers sob.
Men brandish their ironclad guns,
To traipse upon the fields of war
In hopes they will return victor,
These sultry sacrificial sons.

And, timeless, they will surely fall
Before the crowd, has death enthrall.
As the mourning procession fades,
Samael bids the crimson more.
Stain the hearth, prophetic lore
To paint the world, blood-stained cascades.

The last suffering symphonies,
Black dresses, swirling in the breeze,
While the dead resound once again:
"Oh, this nation so endlessly
Caught in the raging, bloody sea,
These wars of machine and men."
War is such a terrible thing. But, alas, there is beauty in such terror.

This one be my favorite of the four you posted in my literature thread. By far the best of the four. Very fluent an easy to follow along. Very descriptive in a clear way that conveys the message. All around great job, I like it!
