Oh just guess, I'll give you a point for the ones you get right; it shouldn't be too hard, this are all pretty easy because I'm lame.
Step 1: Put your music player on shuffle.
Step 2: Post the first line from the first 30 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing.
Step 3: Strike through the songs when someone guesses both the artist/movie and song correctly.
Step 4: For those who are guessing—looking the lyrics up on a search engine is a dick move.
Step 5: If you like the game, post your own.

1. Even if you run, I will find you - I decided I want you
2. Gaze upon me now, a desperate soul for all time
3. Hey Jane, cocaine and snakes; take what you want
4. Why do you cry when you know how the story ends?
5. The Lamb, the Rose, they don't exist
6. Salías del templo un día, Llorona, cuando al pasar yo te vi;
7. Black days, you've changed.  Oh, have you've left me here to rot?
8. My princess, why must I assist at your death?
9.  I left alone, my mind was blank. I needed time to get the memories from my mind
10. You're not who they say you are.  They say you're the enemy.
11. Let me take you down, 'cause I'm going down to strawberry fields
12. As loud as bell, a ringing bell; behind my smile, it shakes my teeth
13. Cannons pour into the night, angels soar into the sky
14. They rule the land, they're in command, they hold all strings in hand
15. What do you mean keep it real, could someone please explain?
16. Sleeping is giving in, no matter what time it is.
17. I woke up in a dream today, to the cold of the static
18. The witchborn queen, leader of demonic whores
19. Come with me.  We took a backroad, we're gonna look at the stars.
20. You starve your children on neglect, then feed their bellies with fear
21. It's another lonely evening, in another lonely town
22. The shadow within me, the sorrow at my feet
23. I grant you my demons, now open your arms
24. Lashing out the action, returning the reaction
25. Jerry was a race car driver, and he drove so goddamn fast
26. It's down to this, I've got to make this life make sense.
27. I woke early one day after a restless night, I watched the stars burst and fill the morning sky with light
28. There's no time to keep it low, I've gone deaf now I want some noise
29. You condemned me to this life, you left me to die.
30. Vänner och fränder de lade om rãd hur de skulle gifta bort sin fränka i ãr

Goddamn there's a lot of emo-sounding shit in here.

You heard it here last, folks.  Steve Jobs, a man who really just employed the people who thought of the iPod that I listen to, and perhaps invented the PC, has found himself beneath a mound of dirt and some flowers.  Maybe his grave will have an original iMac on it.  And whenever you approach the grave, it will come up with the most priceless error message of all time.

"It's not my fault."

Bad notes: This city is flat as shit.  I think there's maybe a 10ft elevation gradient over the entire city.  No hills, no cliffs, no riverbeds, barely any natural trees.  All the ponds are artificial.  And there's an agricultural field right in the middle of the city. It might be associated with the University, but...there it is.   There is also a bunch of "MAH TRUUUCKS" (as my friends call them); large pickups, sometimes lifted beyond any purpose.  Stereotypically driven by men overcompensating for what they have (or don't have) in their pants.   Such a male is usually singularly obsessed with their truck, to the exclusion of all else.  During sex, they'll yell their truck's name instead of their partner's.

Good notes:  Geoscience Dept. people are really friendly.   I like my prof, too.  He's like a fat, jolly man who plays with chickens and seismic waves.  Kind of like Santa, but without the beard and the elves.  Except for this one student of his.  Short guy with a high-pitched voice that yammers on constantly.  I'm pretty sure he's an elf, or at least some kind of gnome in an elf costume.  I got invited to a 'pickles, wine, and cheese' party by one of the graduate students on Friday.  Might show up.

There's a lot of Mexican places within a two-mile radius of me.  So far I've discovered a Taco Villa, a Taco Bell, a Taco Bueno, a Casa Ole, and a Rosa's Tortilla Factory.   Since I fucking love Mexican food - and fake Mexican food, for that matter, this location is fffawesome.

What else what else.

Oh, I got this 802.11 n wireless card so my desktop could connect to the wireless here.  Unfortunately, it now likes to fuck with my audio and video, causing the computer to make ominous sounds reminiscent of the Silent Hill soundtrack every time the computer interacts with the internet.  I feel like the goddamn Pyramid Head is going to rape me.  Looking for a fix, downloading drivers, etc.  This is awful.

Still doing avatar & pencil drawing requests.  PM me or comment on here if you're interested.

Anybody want some features?

Yup.

I graduated with my B.S. in Geology.  So that's good.
Not quite sure what to say about that.  I'm glad I'm out, but you kind of lose sight of the victory with graduate school on the horizon.  I move to my new school next week.  I have a job as a TA, so my schooling's paid for, which is a pretty damned good thing.
Diplomas are fancy.

What else....I got myself a sub, so I'll try to do important things now.  Like bastardize somebody else's journal CSS to make my own.  So fancy!
Note: I will not release this CSS, ugly as it is, to the public.  That violates TOS.

I am still taking requests, regardless of whether or not I finished the old ones.  In addition to offering free colored and uncolored pencil sketches of characters and creatures, I'll be offering free avatars, so long as it's understood that I will not be bending to some kind of style request.   If you were one of the people who submitted a request previously, and still wish me to complete it, just say so.  I'm not grumpy or anything.  Just...forgetful.  And prone to procrastination.

Since I can, here's some damned features.  Fancy fancy fancy.

DesertStar23:  Random person I found while searching 'Newest', doesn't say much.  Cool stuff.

Anybody else want some? Doesn't count for shit, but hey! Getting featured by some nobody is better than no features at all? Right?
Maybe it's the other way around.  Fuck this shit, I'm out.

I am return.

2 min read
I have returned from my excursion into the semi-wildernesses of Utah, Montana, and Colorado.   I am minus a pair of socks, plus a few new scars and around 50lbs of interesting sorts of rocks.  Plus pictures.

And my B.S. Geology is complete.  :iconexcitedplz:

If you want to know, my journeys took me to Arches Nat'l Park and the Henry Mountains in Utah, some random places in Montana, and the Rio Grande and San Isabel Nat'l Forests in Colorado.  This mostly included walking up and down hills.  MY CALVES ARE LEGION.  And I got horribly besotted the last night on a wonderful rum known as THE KRAKEN.  Forgetting how to walk and freezing outside in 35F weather while waiting for your legs to respond is not good.  Neither is deciding you could walk, getting up and toppling over and then crawling on hand and knee back to your tent and freezing all night because you were too drunk to find such a simple thing as socks.  Needless to say, I'm going to stay away from the bottle for the time being.

Anyways, from now until I move to Lubbock in mid-August to start my Master's program, I'll be doing nothing.  I have a few requests to complete, those are listed below.  If you wish to submit a request, I have plenty of time in which to do them. Just comment here or message me.

REQUESTS:
